Gallent Finance was originally created in 2003 as a finance broker company and is part of the Gallent Group of businesses formed in 1999. The company discontinued this activity prior to the credit crunch/global credit crises in 2009. The foresight of the company meant that they predicted that the "bubble would burst", as they described it and that lending could not continue to be conducted by banks and financial institutions using the same antiquated methods for much longer.

Gallent Finance Limited is now the funding arm of the Gallent Group of businesses and provides investment for certain internet based enterprises owned by the Gallent Group.
